Trump election prompts ‘significant’ downgrade of Kiwi dollar

The election of Donald Trump in the US has led to a significant reduction in the prospects for the New Zealand dollar.
BNZ undertook a major revision of its forecasts for the Kiwi dollar this week, following Trump’s election win and stronger economic data out of the US.
